There is a major health crisis concerning teen drivers and their safety on the roads. Prince William County Public Schools, in cooperation and with the support of the Department of Motor Vehicles and the Virginia Association of Driver Educators and Traffic Safety, have launched a major health campaign for the state of Virginia. Partners for Safe Teen Driving: A Teen-Safe Community Health Initiative targets five critical areas of society: teens, parents, educators, law enforcement, and the business community. Partners for Safe Teen Driving believes that by understanding the interrelationship of these components and how they mutually affect the teen driver that communities can make a difference.
